Please indulge me as I share my story, I Just hope that I can help by doing so.

Lets face it I’ve tried alot of diets, they don’t work, or so I thought.

I was overweight, not too bad but about 30lb heavier than I should have been. It was starting to affect my health, I was lethargic and my blood pressure was starting to climb. My doctor warned me that if I didn’t start to lose weight then I was in for some serous health issues in the near future. He started to name some… Stroke, Heart Attack, Diabetes… Let’s face it I’m middle aged, and what he said was starting to scare me, I wanted to see my children grow up and even better get to enjoy Grandchildren.

I didn’t know where to look, I was sick and tired of hearing about the latest fad diets and had tried most of them at one stage or another, the low carb diet, the Atkins diet, even Weight Watchers and Jenny Craig. Some had worked temporarily, some didn’t even work at all, but all the time I felt like I was starving myself boot camp military style, having to watch what I ate all the time.

The hardest part of it all was trying to resist the foods that I love, delicious pizza with lots of toppings and plenty of cheese, rich Italian pasta (also with lots of cheese), A double beef, bacon and cheese hamburger with large fries, and then feeling like a failure and quitting when I succumbed to temptation.

I got serious and mapped out my diet plan for the next 12 weeks, you guessed it lots of healthy foods, fruit, lean protein. Definitely no hamburgers, pizza or pasta.

Yes it was going to be hard but worth it, right?

I started a good cardio routine, 3 times a week I went to the gym. Although it was hard, I stuck to my guns knowing that I would be better off, after all what better way to lose weight than to eat healthy and exercise.

What Happened, Did I lose weight.

Over the 12 week period I lost 6 pounds, most of it in the first week. Yes thats right, only Six pounds. After all that work, I was gutted and I just wanted to throw in the towell.

Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with exercise. In fact if you want to fully benefit from this I highly recommend regular exercise, just don’t overdo it. OK!!

Anyway to say the least I was skeptical, but my friend who had already began to shed the pounds told me. “If you don’t do this you’re a Barnaclehead, its the easiest way to lose weight I have ever tried”

BTW if you don’t know what a “Barnaclehead” is then your kids don’t watch Spongebob every morning like mine do.

And I’ll say it to you now, it is the easiest way to lose weight and keep it off!!

I started the Cheat Your Way Thin Diet, and like before, the first week I lost 3 pounds, and then the week after I lost another 3 pounds. Every week I was consistently losing 2 to 3 pounds. Now, after 10 weeks I have lost 28 Pounds and 13 Inches.

As you can see, I’m not finished, but I’ve made a lot of progress.

And I still get to eat the foods I love. That’s what I call a WIN-WIN.

I could go on about this but I just wanted to tell you my story. And hopefully help someone like you.

If I eat the same balanced meal plan everyday, will I lose weight?

I've come up with a 21-weight watchers-point "menu" for a typical day that is balanced and low in refined sugar. If I follow this and eat the same thing everyday, will I still lose weight or will my body become "immune"?

(Here it is)...I'm a vegetarian.
3 boiled egg whites
1c. coffee
vanilla protein shake with light silk, banana, and whey protein powder
steamed veggies
romaine salad with fat free dressing
pure protein power bar
2 slices whole wheat toast with 1tbsp. honey

Yes, it all boils down to calories in vs. calories out. Your body does not really care what it gets for fuel as long as you are eating healthy. The problem that may arise is you becoming bored with your routine and straying...sometimes its best to mix it up a little. Maybe come up with 3 different days worth of meals and rotate that to provide some variety. Good luck!
