What would happen if an anorexic recoveres at their minimum healthy weight?
What would happen if an anorexic stops at about 8 stone (112 lbs) and as their metabolism has slowed so much, they ate just enough to maintain that weight, no more no less.
Would they gradually need to eat more to maintain it, or would their metabolism stay slow at their minimum healthy weight.
Would a few months of anorexia give them long term effects?
And no, this is not for myself, only my curiosity.
Most of us do nicely by adding 200 calories a day to our intake to maintain weight. If you find yourself gaining weight, adjust it a notch. I know this isn't for you but that is good sound nutritional advice from the experts.=)
