Ignore working at infinite amounts of crunches and leg raises, as there are many more effectual exercises to try. Although these tend to be good workouts, they aren't the best ab exercises.

Mountain Climbers Using A Swiss Ball

This can be a powerful method to start using the best ab exercises. You will want a Swiss ball or something equivalent, and the strategy is to position your hands on top of the Swiss ball much like you will when doing push ups. You then tighten your ab muscles and gradually raise one knee in order to meet your chest. Maintain that knee in position for 3-5 seconds then slowly lower back to the floor. Do this again with the other leg. Repeat this about 10-15 times initially and steadily increase the number of repetitions in your set making sure you feel fine with the increase every time. If you are performing (as we suggest) 2-3 sets on a daily basis, make sure you allow for a minute or so in between each set of exercises.

Another of the best ab exercises will be the bicycle crunch. Laying flat on your back with your legs at an angle of 45 degrees, bring one leg slowly toward your chest, while at the same time bringing down the opposite arm to meet the leg in action. Visualize this as you would ride a bicycle while laying on the ground.

Among the best ab exercises is what is generally referred to as the “side plank”. It usually requires that you lie on your side on the floor using your lower arm to support your upper body up off the floor. Afterward you have to raise your body off the ground to form a straight line (like a plank) from the ankles to the shoulder. When you have this posture, tighten your abs and maintain the position for a minute. Carefully return your body to the starting position and wait 20 seconds prior to proceeding to the next rep (repetition)

Though there are usually many hundreds of workout routines that will provide great ab structure over time, it is important to be involving yourself with the best ab exercises to quickly attain the desired results in the desired time frame. Obviously workouts are just one element, and diet is another. Sustaining a good diet, with healthy and nutritious food items, works in unison together with your best ab exercises and both need to fit into your way of life as well as your daily schedule.

What are the best ab exercises to do when you wanna loose it in about 3 months?

I just had a baby and am also trying to tone up my ab area.
The best exercise that I have found is working with a medicine ball. It's really good for working out your core because not only do you have to balance yourself on the ball but also do sit ups at the same time. To lose it in 3 months. you have to remember to eat right and also do some aerobic exercise such as walking,swimming,running,etc. Hope my info helps.

First, you must dedicate yourself to exercise each day. Choose a break day each week where you can relax. Be sure to eat healthy foods, and avoid anything unnatural. Basically, if its packaged, leave it.
This is my exercise regime that I would recommend.
First spend half an hour each day either riding the bike, or going for a run. You need a cardio activity that will increase your heart rate for half an hour. Some other cardio activities to try-
-going for a hike
-swimming laps
-taking a dance class or cardio class at the local gym
Another tip, since cardio routines aren't usually very fun is to bring a friend along. :)
Next, do three sets of the following routine.
15 ab crunches
30 seconds in the plank position (balanced on your forarms and toes with your back straight.)
15 weight lifts from holding them at shoulder height, then pushing them up to the sky, holding for one count, and then bringing them down again to shoulder height.
15 right leg lifts while lying on your side. start with your foot hovering above your ankle, then lift it up to however high you can without your body moving, and then bringing it back down to hovering.
15 left leg lifts

So, this is just an example of some workouts to tone your abs, arms and legs. If there is another particular area that you want to ton that you think needs more attention, research some workouts for that muscle group. Good luck! Have a good holiday!
