Gym Ab Machines Questions

Can you use the ab machine everyday ?

I'm trying to come up with a routine for trimming fat (all over including hips and sides of waist) and toning.
I'm planning on alternating between the elliptical and the treadmill/track everyday 5 days a week, using the ab machines every day and than alternating between legs and arm machines.
I don't know much about making a routine, when I go to the gym I usually do cardio for an hour and than random weights.
Does this sound okay ?

1) You can create muscle imbalances. This leads to incorrect posture and joint strains where other muscles are pulling. You need to work the antagonist muscle(s) too.

2) Muscles need rest. This is called "recovery". For most people muscles need at least 48 hours of rest between groups. However in untrained individuals it may be longer.

3) Cycling cardio exercise can be beneficial in regards to adaptation. The body becomes more proficient in burning calories in one activity over time. Cycling cardio which you are doing may help avoid this adaptation and allow for more calories to be expended without adapatation.

4) You can't chose where they body will burn fat. Sorry
