How did you gain weight with Marfan syndrome?

For anyone who has Marfan's syndrome and actively tried to gain weight, I need some advice
Me and my mom are trying to gain weight but nothings followed through yet and it's frustrating us..I'm 20 and going from 100 to 92 different days. She's at 110. I've tried Boost/ Ensure extra protein shakes, we've both tried energy/protein shakes from the health store, I work out to try to build muscle and we both eat good and healthy.. but gaining isn't working!
How did you do it and what was your weight before and after? Thanks so much!
Her and I are also the thinnest out of our large family with the condition, but some of them have been on medications that contributed and whatnot and are a bit older.
Is medication the most.."effective" way? Not that I'd just go for a medication that alternates weight but ..

Unfortunately, there is no perfect way to get us to gain weight. Marfan bodies tend to have fast metabolisms when we're younger. As we age, particularly in our 30s and 40s, we tend to put on a lot of weight very quickly. If you ever have the chance to go to a National Marfan Foundation conference, you'll see that most of the adults are overweight. Doctors aren't sure why some do not gain weight as they age.

Because of this sudden weight gain and the fact that since we can't do hard exercise, which makes it hard to lose weight, it's much more important to focus on eating a healthy diet and doing appropriate exercises now. I know that's not what most people want to hear, but it's important to not load ourselves up with fatty, unhealthy food now just to try to gain weight.

well basically i bought it from the shop that sells health releated stuff...

and this thing is called "mass gainers" well basically its for people who do gym and drink this to gain weight which has high level of carbs.. basically my question is if i drink this 3 times a day BUT i'm not planning on going gym AT ALL to burn it due to the fact i lose weight by staring at a rock...

oh yes, thats what they do! check the saturated fat content on that, if there is more than 5g per serving, i wouldnt drink so many....do research on saturated fat...
