What kind of exercise program?
I'm 16 years old and I want to work harder to be healthier. I'm not fat, or even overweight. I just want to be healthy. What kind of exercise program do you think I should do? I have weights and a treadmill available to me. I don't want to take up a whole lot of time, but be able to get a good amount of exercise for my age. What do you recommend? I can do it any time of the day because I'm home schooled. Thanks!
Do about 30 minutes of fast walking on the treadmill, and then after that, do the weights for about 15 minutes. Try some small squats, curls, look up some excersizes to do online for arms and stuff with free weights. And then after that, do the treadmill again for a cooldown for about 15 minutes.
I would also recommend getting some Whey protien at GNC and drinking it after your workout and anytime during the day for a meal replacement. Get womens one a days for a multi vitamin and some flaxseed oil as well. These will make you healthier and make you feel better and more energized.
i need to loose weight, can a doctor or trainer please help! or anyone with good advice?
ok so im a 16yr. old girl and weigh about 230-280 lbs, im not really sure. i wanted to do something that will help me lose 100 lbs in 2 months. i can really use the help.
and for all the other people that know its not healthy, how can i do this safely in a time of 11 months, loosing more than 100lbs.
i have a couple of problems too.
i'm lazy, but willing to ride a bike for exercise.
i can't really buy anything special besides regular fruits and veggies.
i can't really go to the gym either.
during the school year:
i have a crappy lunch and will NOT bring lunch to school!

When you are losing weight, you should exercise and diet together.

start with walking, and then switch to running/jogging. Running is the
most efficient and calorie-burn exercise ever. If you are overweight a
lot, walk first or you may have health complications (heart attack,
disjointed bones and so on). Weight lifting is a good means to target
your problem areas for men and women. It's not necessarily to become a
bodybuilder or even join a gym - a couple of dumbbells will help you
to target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest).
