What is the ideal weight and height for a 14 year old girl? I'm 5'6 and 101 pounds. Am I skinny?

And I checked weight and height charts. Apparently I'm supposed to be 124-130 pounds but I'm only 101. I'm 25 pounds underweight? I've been called skinny and extremely thin but I was just wondering if its right . Thanks!

BMI stands for body mass index.

You put the information in like your height and weight.
I did it for you: 101 lbs and 66 inches and your BMI is a 16.300.

For a 14-year-old girl, a healthy Body Mass Index is anything that falls in between a 15.8 and a 23.3.
You definitely fall in between that healthy range!
And you are on the low end.

One important thing to remember is that if you think you're eating enough, you probably are.

As long as you eat when you're hungry and stop when you're full, chances are you should be at a healthy place in your life.
