Calorie Counting Chart - 5 Steps To Getting The Results You Crave

2. Set yourself up for success.

Recommended Body Weight Chart Questions
How do you put a 7-8 year old on a diet/exercise plan for weight loss?
My daughter is about 4'4 and currently weighs 85 lbs which is about 10 lbs over weight according to the growth charts I found. Her weight is really affecting her self esteem as she is constantly comparing herself to other girls her age who are tiny and have almost no body fat.
I'm not sure how many calories she should be consuming a day or how much fat, protein, etc. We generally eat pretty healthy in our house, I try to keep her away from the sugar and saturated fats and usually give her healthy snacks like fruit and vegetables, but she just wants to eat all of the time.
I'm also not sure what is a reasonable amount of exercise for her to be doing. Being that it is summer we will be spending at least a half hour in the pool everyday. Is this enough activity for a 7 year old?
What would you guys recommend I do to help her shed the extra weight over the summer?
if she watching too much tv that bad idea you gain weight because your doing nothing try to encourage her to go outside and play with the other kids or go take her out for a walk the two of you every day. and for her eating problem she should eat every three hours studies shows this boosts up your metabolism. example: breakfast 3 hours later a healthy snack, 3 hrs. after that lunch 3hrs. after that a healthy snack, 3 hrs. later dinner and if shes still hungry give her a small healthy snack 3 hrs. later after dinner. dont give her huge snacks give her some carrots or a small fruit salad, some yogurt. and once in while a treat wouldn't hurt just to ease the temptation. remember she's 7 she still has her youth on her side and it can depend on ones genes too the type of body you have. everybody's body is different. you just got to give it some time shes still growing.
