If i burn 1800 calories a day and want to lose weigh?

How many calories should i consume?

I worked out how many calories i ate yesterday and it worked out at 1600(ish).

I am active and im not hugely over weight, i just want to shake off this half a stone i've gained recently.
Im 28, 5ft2" and 10 1/2 stone at present but ive had 4 kids so i know ill never be stick thin again, lol.

Consume 1,300 calories per day to lose 1lb of fat per week.

Problem gaining muscle?

I'll keep this simple. I've been working out at my local for 5 months now, and have seen little muscle gain on my body. I go Monday through Friday, and every day there I burn 300 calories from cardio, and then Monday and Thursday I work my lower body, and Tuesday and Friday I work my upper body. The amount of weight I am using on the machines I use to work my body has gone up by at least 20 to 30 pounds, but I have seen little muscle gain. I have upped my protein intake, I have bought shakes, power bowers, protein bars, amino acid/protein pills, the whole nine yards. So I am wondering, what am I doing wrong? Am I doing too much cardio? Any input, tips, or advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
