How to Gain Weight With a Super Fast Metabolism?
Is it even possible? My boyfriend is 6' 2" and he weighs 130. He says he has always been this skinny. He eats more than anyone i know and tons of junk and he never exercises. Yet, he still looks like a holocaust victim!! He refuses to lift weights because he thinks it will never work. I dont kno what to do to help him gain weight, he thinks protein shakes are gross. If anyone has any recipes or tricks i could use on him..because he wont do any diets or anything. I know he isnt happy with how tiny he is, its not like we want to bulk him up..just get him to gain a little weight. Meanwhile, im trying to lose weight. Maybe if ya'll have any ideas for exercises he can do to gain weight while im working out to lose weight..so we can be together. Anything will be appreciated, thanx!!!

Yes, it is possible - The key is that he has to take in more calories than he burns (duh, right?)
Before he starts to lift weights , you need to make sure he is getting enough total calories and enough protein (1.4 - 1.6 g/kg) or else his supersizes metabolism will start to feed on what muscle he does have
No "tricks" necessary, just focus on caloricly dense foods.
Oatmeal, peanut butter, (whole) milk, (whole)eggs , Lean ground beef, higher calorie veggies (we still want him to be healthy so make sure he gets at least 3 of these in) carrots, corn (which is ac tally a bread but for these purposes it works) , cauliflower and higher calorie fruits (he should have at least 3 of these too for good health) bananas, apples, dried fruit
You can also grab some cereal bars and things like that for him to munch on during the day to squeeze in extra calories and you can always throw a tbs of safflower oil on his veggies to add an extra 100 calories per tbs.

Does the Shake Weight really work?
A serious question, folks. I am really curious if the Shake Weight really does work. I mean, I figure it's probably as effectual (or ineffectual) as any other exercise fad/craze, but it also can't hurt to ask if anyone has bought it for themselves and used it long enough to judge if it really works.
Laugh if you want, but my preferred way of exercising is DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) on PS2; it's great cardio and helps a bit with the lower half of my body. I'm also thinking of trying yoga (still debating) in my newest attempt to get in better shape and improve myself over all. But if the Shake Weight really does work, I figured that would help me get in better shape and the toning in the upper half might even help me out at work (I do grocery stocking, which isn't that glamorous, but cases of cans get heavy after a while if there's enough of them to deal with
)
As a fitness professional I think it's the most hilarious exercise scam I've seen in 10 years. Seriously...Shake your way to "toner" arms. I think that SNL has the best interpretation of what this newest exercise device can be used for. Honestly speaking, don't waste your money.
