Hi. I saw a girl a few days ago who was realy toned and super tight - she had mad leg muscles and calves, but it wasn't too masculine looking. I envied her!!
I'm 116 and I want the same thing?? I look like I have chicken legs and when I sit down or walk it looks like I have no muslce at all and I'm starving myself or I'm sick.
I want to gain muscle weight and tone up, but I don't know how. I was always told there's somehting about lifting a lot, lifting a little, doing more reps, doing shorter reps??
What should I do and how often and how many days a week?? When will I see results?? I have protien shake stuff, but it's useless unless I workout. My apt complex has a gym so I can work out everyday. What most most MOST effective?? Is pilates more effective??

For packing on muscle mass use weights taht you can only manage 12 reps or under, for toning 12 reps and above and for endurance 25 reps or more (reps = repetitions).
Do it 3 days a week with at least one day break in between. Also if you want to see results soon then stick to progressive overload which means each time you do weights (be sure to write down what you do) do more than what you did last time e.g.
Monday - Press ups 20
Wednesday - press ups 22
Friday - press ups 23
Do this for every exercise and you will constantly getting better.
You must try very hard to see results push past your pain barriers, remember that pain is weakness leaving the body
