What does my muscles shake when Im working out, esp my legs when doing certain moves??

I've noticed when working out in the gym either at a fitness class like yoga or lifting weights my muscles shake why does this happen?

A couple of reasons. One, if you're new to working out, it's just a sign that your muscles are not used to being worked out in that way. As you continue to build strength, that should abate.

If you are not new to it, and have been doing it for a while consistently, then you may consider taking in a few more calories before your workout, upping the carbs, protein, and fat a bit.

What should I consume after weight lifting now that..?

What should I conusume after weight lifting now that my parents will no longer provide funds for my protein powder? I used to lift pretty often and always drink a protein shake after working out, but I've run out of it and have no money to buy more.

If I Want to get bigger is it essential that I consume protein shakes? Or is it just a bunch of lies? Will I still see improvement if I don't consume them?

But I don't want to just NOT consume anything after lifting, since that's the most important time to eat after a workout and get protein to restore muscle. So what should I do? What should I eat?
