68 kg i think..... bmi is calculated by the formula weight in kg divided by height in metres square.... so ur bmi works up to 24.09........ thats ok... dieting does help reducing weight but it always leads to other problems..... so its better u do some physical exercise like a brisk walk half an hour a day....... good luck and remember always beauty is not abt how fat or how thin u r but its all about how u feel about yourselves..... love yourselves and u ll feel like a princess always......
What is the best swim workout to lose weight quickly?
Dear friends,
I just bought a pair of new swimming trunks and goggles. My workout in the last 8 weeks was mostly doing cardio on the stairstepper, and then weights and stretching. I managed to lose 8 pounds. I know its kinda slow, i missed some of my workouts in the middle. Last few days my legs have been aching a lot 'cause of the intense workouts on the stairstepper. I am hoping to switch over to swimming and continue dropping my weight; another 8 pounds to lose.
I am 6'2" - now 200 lbs(after dropping 8 lbs). My target is to reach 192lbs, that will put me in the healthy BMI zone. Now I am trying to figure out what is the best swim workout to lose weight quickly; Any other suggestions are also welcome. Should I combine swimming with strength training on alternate days?
Yes you should combine them. You should be doing a lot of laps, as fast as you can. With a warm up of going slow.
But if you really want to lose that weight, you should continue with your old exercises.... because the majority of the weight that you will lose in the pool is connected to dehydration. Which will not help you, you will think that you are losing fat, when you are really losing water.
I recommend some cardio
